Eat More Fruits And Vegetables For Breakfast

Add fresh, frozen or dried fruit to your oatmeal, cream of wheat or cold cereal. Try bananas, berries, raisins, dried apricots, dates, apples, or peaches.

Add chopped up bell peppers, onion, mushrooms, tomatoes, broccoli or spinach to your scrambled eggs or omelet.

Add bananas, blueberries, strawberries or chopped apples to pancakes or waffles.

Have a smoothie for breakfast for a change. For a generic starter recipe try mixing 1 c. frozen fruit, 3/4 c. fruit juice and 1/2 c. vanilla yogurt in the blender.
