Onion Rava Dosa Receipe

Rava- 1cup
Rice flour -1 cup
Maida – 1/4cup
Thick butter milk – 1/2 cup
Chopped green chillies -1tsp
Crushed pepper-1 tsp
Jeera/Cumin seeds-1tsp
Curry leaves -2 tsp
Chopped corriander leaves -1tbsp
Water – 2  3/4 cup
Little salt


Mix rava, Maida, rice flour in a bowl add cumin seeds and chopped green chillies,curry leaves, corriander leaves, crused pepper,butter milk and salt. Add water little by little and mix well,make this to a thin batter.Keep it up for 1/2 hr.After 1/2 hr add little more water and add chopped onion mixed well,batter is ready now.
Heat the thawa and sprinkle little oil and spread evenly with dosa spatula(karandi)
If we want the dosa to be crisp, use the dosa spatula and spread the dosa and make it thin.
Keep the flame in medium low and allow it to cook. Rawa dosa takes more time to cook than the traditional dosas and hence keep it in low flame and allow it to cook completely.

The yummy rawa dosa is ready to serve with any type of Chutneys..
