Homemade Pedicure Tips
Pedicure might be not the most gorgeous part of your beauty routine. However this procedure is as important as manicure. And winter is not an excuse for skipping this ritual. Any woman should keep her feet well cared and healthy. Moreover, pedicure is a great way to pamper yourself and relax when it’s cold outside.
Prepare all the supplies you may need. Warm the water, prepare the devices and treatments you may need.
Remove old polish from your nails. Add to the basin of warm water a cup of foot soak or just your favorite salt.
Place your feet into the basin and relax for about 10 minutes. Salt is great for softening your cuticles and heels skin.
Cut your toenails using clippers straight across. Make the nails even with the pot of your toes. Use file to soften the edges and harsh corners of each nail.
Rub your heels with pumice stone or other device for removing the callused skin. Apply foot scrub to gently exfoliate dead skin cells.
Pat the feet dry and apply rich foot cream to seal the moisture inside. Don’t forget the areas between your toes.
Gently push the cuticles off your nails and apply the base coat. Choose the polish you like and apply it starting with the middle area of the nail. Add top coat for finishing look.
